HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR KIT

Your WYN kit isn’t just apparel—it’s a performance tool. Taking a few extra steps in your wash and care routine helps it stay lightweight, aerodynamic, breathable, and supportive.

Keep It Fast

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR WYN TRI SUIT

HAND WASH OR DELICATE CYCLE (under 85°F / 30°C).

Use mild, sport-specific detergents. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or heavy fragrance formulas.

DITCH THE HANGER

To prevent stretching and preserve fit - drape your suit over a drying rack or hang it folded over a towel bar to evenly distribute weight. No tumble dryers—heat will ruin elasticity and fabric integrity.

TRANSPORT WITH CARE

Use a dry bag or separate gear pouch to keep it safe from wet towels, velcro, shoes, or rough zippers.

lIMIT SUN & CHEMICAL EXPOSURE

After open-water swims or long training days, rinse your suit promptly—saltwater, chlorine, sunscreen, and sun exposure can quickly fade and damage fabric.

KNOW WHAT'S NORMAL 💡

All tri suits—especially light-colored ones—are susceptible to discoloration from sweat, deodorants, anti-chafe products, and long open-water swims. These effects are normal signs of wear, not defects.

That said, minimizing exposure and rinsing promptly can slow visible changes.

Your best ride starts in well-kept gear

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR CYCLING KIT

MACHINE WASH COLD (30°C / 86°F)

Use mild, sport-specific detergents. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or heavy fragrance formulas.

AVOID THE HEAT

Line dry only—never tumble dry. Keep out of direct sun when drying. Avoid ironing (even on low heat).

LIKE WITH LIKE

Turn your gear inside out and wash it with other synthetic fabrics. Avoid anything abrasive, such as denim or garments with velcro.

POST-RIDE CARE

After your ride, hang dry your kit immediately—especially in heat or humidity. Avoid leaving it balled up, and rinse promptly if you’re not washing it straight away.

Gear That Goes the Distance—If You Treat It Right

How to Care for Your RUN GEAR

MACHINE WASH COLD (30°C / 86°F)

Use mild, sport-specific detergents. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or heavy fragrance formulas.

WASH IT SOLO

Always wash your run gear separately, inside out, and with like colors to preserve vibrancy and prevent dye transfer.

AVOID THE HEAT

Line dry only—never tumble dry. Keep out of direct sun when drying. Avoid ironing (even on low heat).

PRO TIP

Use a protective wash bag or a Guppyfriend® bag to reduce fabric stress in the washing machine and prevent micro-tears from friction.

BRIGHT COLOR CARE 💡

Some of our run pieces—especially bold or darker colors—may bleed when new.To prevent any surprises, always wash before first wear, then continue washing separately, inside out, and with like colors to preserve vibrancy and prevent dye transfer.

Sweat, sunscreen, and body oils can also contribute to fading and fabric breakdown. A quick rinse or wash after each session helps keep your gear fresh, colors bright, and your skin happy.
